Paleo for the skin – Araza Beauty review 4

I have been mostly Paleo for the last 5 years or so and now consider myself Keto/Paleo and lowering my red meat in take. For those of you who don’t know or are living under a rock, Paleo is short for Paleolithic and premise of the lifestyle is to eat as the cavemen did back in the stone ages. Now that is not to be taken literally and to go out and actually hunt your food (though some do seasonally). A better explanation of Paleo can be found here.

Today’s post is about using the premise of all natural, organic from eating a Paleo diet and using it for skin care and makeup. In comes Araza Beauty – Paleo for the skin.

I found Araza Beauty simply by a Facebook Ad (yes they do work). I usually buy makeup that is either organic or has acceptable ingredients, meaning no fillers or chemicals. My go to for awhile and still is for some make up is Origins – which will be a separate review. However, when I saw the Ad for Araza I clicked on it and went to the website.

Now if you are like me, I do not like to spend a lot of money or buy a big size on something that I have never used and especially online where I cannot test it. That is where the testers come in. Absolutely brilliant! So that was my first order and since then I have been hooked. Buying both the full size on items such as blush and foundation and buying testers on lip gloss until I know I like the a certain color, or just to mix and match – have fun!

Who is Araza and what is their story?

Araza was started by 2 sisters Lindsey and Jenn Diamond who both suffer from celiac disease. They could not find any skin care or cosmetics that fit their Paleo lifestyle so what does anyone do when they can’t find anything? They created their own of course. As a personal trainer suffering from this disease, Lindsey changed her lifestyle to follow Paleo. When she saw and felt positive results she thought it is imperative to have the same in skincare and beauty products. The skin is the largest organ in our bodies that absorb so much into our system which is why we must protect it at all times.

The products are 99% Organic and 100% GMO free as well as Paleo Certified. Being Paleo Certified means it follows the same guidelines as Paleo diet. Formula uses healthy fats, organic pant based ingredients and natural earth elements combined to nourish the skin. It is also free from gluten, soy, dairy and of course any artificial ingredients.

Be sure to read all the way to the end for a special announcement!

My review: This is where I go crazy with the samples. I usually have 1 or 2 full size of must have color, but love getting different colors for different outfits and moods. I absolutely love these glosses. My lips tend to chap and dry easily and using this gloss actually moisturizes with the coconut oil. Feels good and looks great! Only thing is that it does not have staying power but am used to that.

This is the finished fresh face after using Araza products. I am in love with this company and would recommend, especially as it is all natural, organic and good for you…AND looks great!

Araza also carries a couple items in skin care and also offers beauty tools however I have yet to purchase these items so I cannot give my review yet.

I am interested in the Araza Beauty products. I am not a big make up person. I would really be interested in anti-aging products. Do you know if they sell these as well? If you can send me a link for this products, I would be highly grateful! The prices on the products you have listed seem very reasonable and I like the fact that the products are organic and GMO free.

Yes they do offer products that are anti aging or restores your skin to elasticity. I have provided links in my blog for each product as well as each area (face, eyes, cheek, lips). Anything in blue has a link. However you can go here

Let me know how you like it. Thank you!

    Hi Elizabeth,

I have never heard of this product, Araza before. And I have to be honest, I haven’t heard of Paleo lifestyle either. But this is interesting. So basically your diet would consist of natural organic ingredients from the earth for nourishing your body and skin?

I don’t have much in facial products but when I do buy I look at the description for the ingredients. But on each of the Araza products you have the natural or organic ingredients according to the description without added chemicals or animal.

This is a good review of the Araza products. Thank you for sharing this review.

Thank you for your comment! A Paleo lifestyle is getting rid of all the nasty chemicals and pesticide filled foods and adding healthy fats such as coconut oil, etc and foods that come from natural soil. What Araza is doing is taking this same thought and using coconut oil, and other healthy oils along with natural ingredients in their products. This is what makes them so natural looking and never cakey. If you ever want to try a sample, they are only $2.50.

Please let me know if you need any other information. Thank you!
